The Trinity
Project
Mission
The Trinity Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to conservation, education, and scientific research. Located on a pristine 90-hectare property bounded by a canyon and rocky terrain in the southern Brazilian highlands, the foundation protects a vital freshwater resource and supports native biodiversity. Future efforts include the reintroduction of native species to this and a nearby 50-hectare rainforest parcel, home to 40 beehives supporting pollination for neighboring farms.
Core Objectives
- Environmental Conservation: Preserve aquatic ecosystems, protect endangered species, and restore degraded land and waterways.
- Natural Resource Stewardship: Manage land and water sustainably through partnerships and water credit markets.
- Scientific Research & Education: Promote environmental awareness and conduct technical studies using drones, AI, and other tools to identify environmental risks.
- Technology for Sustainability: Develop software (e.g., 5G-enabled platforms), IoT tools, and AI systems to monitor ecosystems, reduce carbon emissions, and optimize agriculture.
Assets & Governance
The foundation was endowed with 150 hectares featuring freshwater springs and endangered species habitat, along with initial capital for operations. Governance is maintained by an Executive Board, Curator Council, and Fiscal Council to ensure transparency, accountability, and strategic execution aligned with Brazilian nonprofit law.
Revenue Sources
- Grants, donations, and sustainable investments (e.g., ESG funds)
- Royalties from licensed environmental software
- Eco-tourism, retreats, and consulting services
- Crowdfunding and support from global institutions like the UN or World Bank
The Trinity Foundation operates with a long-term vision: protecting ecosystems, advancing climate resilience, and sharing knowledge to benefit communities across Brazil and the world.
