About the Trinity Foundation
The Trinity Foundation is a non-profit organization rooted in the belief that conservation, education, and scientific research are the cornerstones of a sustainable future. Established in the highlands of southern Brazil, the Foundation stewards over 150 hectares of native Atlantic forest, spring-fed waterways, and protected habitats for endangered species.
Legally chartered under Brazilian law, the Foundation was created by Angélica Valdivia Wallace in honor of her daughter. The land, part of which is bounded by a canyon and sustained by abundant natural springs, has been dedicated as a living model for ecological preservation and climate resilience. In 2024, the local government officially recognized the property as “Villa Angélica,” an eco-village and protected reserve, in tribute to its environmental significance.
The estate is a sanctuary for rare Araucaria trees, set aside 100% as a native preserve. It also hosts a thriving bee apiary, with over 40 hives supporting the pollination of local crops and wild plants for kilometers in every direction—an unsung, high-impact engine of biodiversity for the entire region. Villa Angélica features robust off-grid infrastructure, including water capture and retrntion ponds, a total of 70,000 liters of spring water cistern storage with purification, a high-strength electrical power system proven to withstand Category 1+ hurricane-force derecho storms, and a 110 kWh battery bank with solar panels. The Foundation’s mission is rooted not just in conservation, but in demonstrating how sustainable living, renewable energy, and community stewardship can regenerate and protect Brazil’s most vital ecosystems.
Our mission is to restore and protect natural ecosystems, advance sustainable technologies like AI-enabled water management and 5G environmental monitoring, and inspire community engagement through outreach and environmental education.
Guided by a Curator Council and Executive Board, the Trinity Foundation operates with integrity, transparency, and a vision of a more balanced relationship between humanity and the natural world.
